I

The images still swirl and dance
Cacophonous angelic tints
Denizens adaze in trance
The grim malaise that I’ve known since
That Godless ways that I’ve lived since
Of God I beg deliverance

II

I curse the day that I went free
Accursed is the light
Dispersed among the things I see
Perversion and delight
I own you, so should it be!
That I’m here gives me the right!
Genuflect on wounded knee
All of those within my sight
Your tainted soul was given me
That I might taste your innocence
You gave your eyes so I could see
My imminent deliverance

III

I knew an angel once
Allegiance I had sworn
In Heaven I was able once
Before my flesh was ripped and torn
Lo! I have reformed my skin
Of filth and lies and mortal sin
Though I’ve lost an angel’s form
Though my bane comes from within
A cry of war again is born
A putrid raucous wretched din
The warcry of the children scorned
The Godless army we have formed
Beware your God, you have been warned
