Drawing a nice hot bath
Waiting for it to fill
Steam feels the bathroom
I breath it in

Finally ready
I first dip in a toe
One foot goes in
Followed by the other

I sit down
warm water carassing me
I lay back into the waters embrace
Close my eyes and relax

Eventually the water cools
So I add more hot
I scoot down
My body floats a bit

I close my eyes
Imagine A sharp knife
Red blooms in the water
Slowly drifting away

Momentarily I can imagine
Ending the pain
Too many loved ones
Tether me to this life
