Sore in our defense
I bled against the violence
I drip from where the flesh is torn
I ache where muscles are tired and worn
I stand exhausted without word
I see before me my greatest reward
You approach to sooth my pain
with gentle touches like the rain
My shouting body you caress
and I rise beneath your tenderness
Kiss black and blue with lips of red
and lay me softly on the bed
Clean my wounds with stroke of tongue
and taste the warmth and salt among
I close my eyes and slightly strain
as you offer a delicious pain
The weight of your body on my own
your every movement brings a groan
You don't let me move to return the favor
just freely give the relief I savor
The sight of your glow in the moonlight flesh
so white and moonlit dewy fresh
I want to touch and shape so slow
to smell and taste and fully know
But you hold my hands and keep me still
and I give to you my tired will
A thousand battles I would endure
if my reward was your sweet torture
