I must have skipped a meal
Or maybe two.
I don't see the big deal
Trying to lose a pound or a few.

I might have exercised too much
Or not nearly enough.
I'm not good with diets or such.
The right way is always tough.

This is only temporary.
Until I'm thin.
I might look a little scary.
but isn't gluttony a sin?

I am feeling ya. I just had my lapband adjusted and am fading away. Diets suck! Great poem.
