For when you betray themselves
All ties are cut
Love is lost
Watch yourself
All corrupts
Power corrupts
Absolute power corrupts absolutely
Watch your deeds
For all are the playwright
None the actor
The lines, unwritten
Watch your words
For words can spread
And like wood to ash
Are gone
Watch out for love
Hold close your heart
For a moments peace
A dagger is the price
Take no notice of my words
For all is lost with time
