We come on line to chat and flirt
With no regards or thoughts
of who it might hurt.
So many times we never think
about the things we do
and say.
We say the things we know
that the others want to
hear.
And do for them the things
we’d never dream of
doing for you.
We never seem to think of the
ones who might read what
was said and not
understand.
To us it’s just a game of give and take
and of show and tell.
We never really speak of the
ones that mean the most.
Then one day we have to stop
and think and realize
the effect it has had.
