We learn to live,
We learn to share
We learn to give.
We learn to hope
We learn to forget,
We learn to forgive
We learn to never regret
We learn to feel pain
We learn to feel pleasure,
We take all in stride
Because all is a treasure.
We learned so much
These years alive,
On what it took
To help us survive.
So try never to hurt
And take each day,
Like it is your last
Just enjoy the way.
I think that this is a start to what could be a good poem. As it stands WAY too much repetition (We learn). I found myself trying to get away from the same phrases and missing the content. I would very much like to read a rewrite because, as I said, this could become a very nice piece.
