Things sometimes get a little crazy
a blizzard in the mind unsettling
The best way to help explain,
is just to proclaim ... Well maybe.
I was fishing and lost all my bait,
I know that one fish was not so dumb.
And you can't convince me that there was more than one ... well maybe?
Or like the time I saw a U.F.0. live
as it went flashing and shooting by.
An airplane taking a dive? ... Well maybe.
A beautiful girl that winked at me
I winked back and swelled up like a tree.
She got closer and passed me by
was that a winking eye? ... Well maybe.
Like the time I was cleaning my desk
It had accumulated quite a mess.
Most of the papers had gotten shrewd.
The files on the "sued?" ... well maybe?
Surfing the web and here I rest
Of making up poems for my little list.
I couldn't write among the best
or write a poem worthy of being green "E" blessed ... well maybe.
