Her body gets wet, but her laughter is dry
I think she's in love, but I can't say why
Our pulse increases, and then it ceases
And when it starts again we die.

Her brain she keeps wet, so she doesn't forget
This truth in a lie, that she can't get by
This life she only leases, until it ceases
But love is something you buy.

Her sheets get wet, on the bed where we lie
We struggle for love, but with lust we get by
As our tempo increases, I shatter to pieces
I'm sure she doesn't know why.

Her body gets wet, but her mind doesn't get it yet
She thinks it's love, but she knows it's a lie
For our chemistry increases, but the conversation ceases
And I think I'm ready to cry.
