Humans are so fascinated with them
I am not
They breech
And dive
They rise
And dive
They need not
They could spend a lifetime
Just breaking the surface
And dipping for a time
But they don’t
They fly
If only temporarily
And then
Pilot down deep
Exploring
Where there is little light
Then up again
And out
Soaring, flipping, and twisting in the air
Cycles
Forever
And I am not fascinated
But still ignorant as to why
They beach
