What is it in human nature
that makes us yearn for love?
Is it something our families taught us,
with their abundance of acceptance and hugs?
Why do some people long for it,
while others seem so carefree?
Why do some need its presence,
to complete all they feel they can be?
Is it just that some need more nurturing,
from a kind and loving soul?
What is it about human nature,
that makes some need that loving role?
