Click hereIs life supposed to be a lesson
If so what do I learn?
Is life supposed to be fulfilled
If so why do I yearn?
Is life an opportunity
To accomplish all my dreams?
If so why am I so confused
That nothing’s what it seems?
Is life supposed to take me places
And journey me along?
If so why am I standing still
Not knowing what is wrong?
What is life supposed to be
And will I ever know?
What happens when our life has gone
Where do our spirits go?
really enjoyed this..
I have always felt understanding the questions was more important than finding answers, loved the way it hammered home that we can solve any puzzle we want, but there's always one that will evade us.
Life is a road, with many paths
There is no clear choice to make
Life is not about finding answers
It is about creating them for goodness sake
So you can ask for some rationale
In your youth it is understandable
But if you show patience and wait
You might find answers more palatable
Life has led me to your poem
And I am thankful for taking the time
I hope life gives you the same delight
I received from reading each and every line
The saying that life is what you make it must be very true in your life, Jennifer. You must have a very lucky partner - does he realise how lucky he is?
as Bridget said before Me, what you make of it. And I'll add one more thing to that synopsis: it's what you make and re-make of it again and again. The molding of one's life is never complete until the moment of our last breath. And even then, it may not be complete, but renewed someplace else to start molding once more.<wink> Loved your muse of musing tonight, Jenn! <smile>
