Is life supposed to be a lesson
If so what do I learn?
Is life supposed to be fulfilled
If so why do I yearn?

Is life an opportunity
To accomplish all my dreams?
If so why am I so confused
That nothing’s what it seems?

Is life supposed to take me places
And journey me along?
If so why am I standing still
Not knowing what is wrong?

What is life supposed to be
And will I ever know?
What happens when our life has gone
Where do our spirits go?
