What is love?
But a word we speak,
a way to express a feeling inside,
one that sometimes we are known to hide.

What is love?
But something we give,
in a hope that back to us it is returned,
and from it something is learned.

What is love?
But what I feel for you,
deep within my heart,
that's where I felt it start.

Why do we love?
We love because it's our nature,
we give our love to everyone,
in one way or another.

Why does love hurt?
It hurts because it's our fate,
because to love and hate,
are two sides of the same penny,
as lovers have found over years a many.
