What’s it like?
To have everyone adore you,
Just because they see what’s not really there,
What’s it like to live your lie?

Once it was just a couple of words,
Now it’s become your world,
You let them believe this is you,
But I still know the truth,

I still remember the real you,
Is that why you push me away?
Because I could so easily destroy you,
Go on keep living your lie,

It doesn’t make you any better,
I feel sick and ashamed,
And I’m crying, can’t listen to your lies,
I still can’t meet your eyes,

Still burdened with thoughts,
Of yesterdays that still remain,
I’m hiding from their stares,
What I wouldn’t give to feel normal again,

Don’t want to look in the mirror,
Because I know you’ll still be there.
