the sky is dark, cause it's feeling alot of pain,
the sky is getting dark, so watch out for the rain.
there's a dark cloud, forming over my head,
the sky may be dark, but it's not dead.
watch the lighting, lighting up the sky,
isn't it a wonder, to the human eye.
we are killing our world, and she is fighting back.
why don't we just stop it, cause' respect we lack.
it looks as though it's day, even when it's night,
cause we can't see, what we're doing isn't right.
the wind is blowing, and shaking everything around,
if we don't open our eyes, earths destruction is bound.
we are cutting down our trees, and polluting our air,
we think we can move to mars, so we don't care.
and what about our water, have we even stopped to think,
that if we don't stop polluting, we want have a thing to drink.
isn't it sad, that filters and bottled water, we must buy,
even now, so we want die.
what are we leaving, for the children all around,
nothing but destruction, is where we're bound.
children look up to the skies, and they ask god why,
when all they really have to do, is look into their parents eyes.
maybe when they, start to stand up for the world,
all of this chaos, will finally be hurled.
and maybe then they will have, that bright and peaceful sky,
and not have to look up any more, and always question why.
