I wish I could run
Back into your arms
The only time i truly feel safe
Is when I'm with you.

How many times will it take
For me to get this right?
What will it take for you
To let me back into your life?

When i close my eyes
I still hold onto us.
Do we still belong?
Or am I just pretending?

Will you ever tell me what you feel for me?
Or do we keep pretending nothing is there?
I was your first true love
And I want you to be my last.

You're my beacon of light
Leading me home through the dark.
We were just two strangers falling in love,
I want the chance to rediscover you.

Faithful, forever, I will always be yours
Let the Universe do what it will
We play the hand we are dealt by Fate
Let's play our hand together once more.
