What Would We Remember

by Dusty Farkworth

May 15, 2003

(c) 2003

What would we remember?

If tomorrow never came.

The last moments of time,

something special or mundain.

Maybe something small,

within our reach.

A walk in the moon light,

along the beach.

Never noticed until it's gone.

Maybe the lyrics' of a lovers song.

Lost to time and inner space.

Memories of life seen in a face.

Never reclaimed except in thought.

A familar smell or something bought,

triggering a memory of someone loved.

Lost to now,

never to be reclaimed.

Just fleeting moments in time.

Each one special and one of a kind.

Grasp the moment before it's gone.

Notice those we bring along,

lifes path seems wide and long.

Tell them all before it's to late.

Even those you think you hate.

That life is special and so are they.

Notice the little things, each and everyday.

For tomorrow they could whisp away.

Never to return except in memory.

Be they loved one,

or suspected enemy.

Each one special in their way.
