What you saw in me
Was more than what I looked like
Saw a man in pain.

What I didn't see myself
Didn't put me on the shelf.

Saw a broken man
    Socially and sexually
Lead me to your door.

Your friends all welcomed me in
Told me it's alright to sin.

You did a good deed
You and your friends helping me
Brought me up to speed.

Saw me not alone again
Brought me out of my prison.

Not afraid to say
We need more women like you
Make my social day.

You saw past the social cliques
Took away carnal mystique.

Banish my shyness
    Immerse me in involvement
Drink your sexiness.

Brave enough to cross fringe creeds
Take care of my social needs.

Why do you reach out?
To a homely guy like me
With no social clout?

Because you're worthy you say
And not leave me in dismay.
