What's Wrong?

You won't look me in the eye.
When I talk to you,
Your face burns red.

Is there something I should know?

Remember that last kiss;
How passionate and forbidden,
It seemed?

I don't understand.
When I hold your hand,
You pull away from me.
When I clasp your shoulder,
You shrug me off.

I keep thinking,
Was it me, and
What did I say?

What did I do?
Don't you always whisper,
"Forgive and forget?"

In those few moments shared,
When I see into your
trembling, crystal eyes.
I just know, somehow I know.

The bastard will pay for this.

I, will pay for this.

Honestly,
You can tell me what is wrong:

I can change.

I promise.
