Beyond the reaches
Of a rich pastel horizon
…Beckons night…
As the sun slowly descends
Upon its own finest hour
And rewards the cool and dark
…Of somber skies…
With shimmering stars of
Luminescent wonder
The very will of day is done
Already drifted
Into quiet slumber.
