I never knew forever
could come and go so fast
It was just a day ago
that I saw your perfect face
but now today you left
left me without a trace
I never knew love could be
so unkind and unfair
I found out that it was today
because now never again will you be here
My heart is forever broken
shattered in a million pieces
too small to put back together
and the aching never ceases
So forever I wisper my last goodbye
upon your grave my heart will stay
this forever has come to its end
and with teary eyes i'm sorry to say
You allways told me forever
but forever doesn't always last
but I never knew that forever

LeBrozabout 17 years agoNicely rhyming stanzas beginning and end bracket the turmoil of a love lost. Just seems that the 4th stanza is a bit clichéd, predictable. And check out whisper.
