Of all the demonstrations of love I've ever felt, the most recent warms my heart so much you'd melt.
Winnie the Pooh, shower Visors, and macintosh apple scents. Finger pads massaging my scalp your love nourishing me, my fears and phobias soon went.
Scars that don't only run skin deep but naked to the eye, painful emotional wounds, inner battles, tears I've cried.
I'm thankful for you letting me open up to some of the vulnerabilities I feel inside, although some pain and sadness still reside.
I appreciate the patience that goes into loving me, I'll get back to the fun loving confident girl I used to be, but for now, here's me.
