When is Enough , Enough

  When is Enough, Enough!

Our hearts are broken,
So our president said
As 20 young souls were shot,
Inside their school and lay now lay dead.

I shake my head,
As it all unfolds on TV.
This senseless,
Tragedy.

 Six teachers hiding their students,
And shielding them from harm.
As first responders,
React to the alarms.

My words cannot bring comfort,
It cannot stop the flow of tears.
They cannot mend broken hearts,
Or chase away the little ones fears.

When will the insanity stop?
When will we join together?
And say enough is enough!
Yes when do we band together,
And say enough is enough.
