There is so much suffering in this world
That never makes a sound
All this pain that's hiding deep inside the ground
So much sorrow that's hidden through the years
And a slowly breaking dam
That's holding in the tears
One day that concrete wall
Will erode there's no doubt
Will you be there to help me out
And guide me through the crashing tide
Will you be there by my side
When all hope is gone
And this world is not enough
When I need someone to hold on to
Someone there to call my bluff
And show me the kindness I've never had
And teach me that things won't always be this bad
