The ones that leave us,
We never know how much they really mean to us,
Or how much we'll truly miss the,
When they're gone.
We may see the end comeing,
Knowing that it may happen soon,
But no matter what we do,
We always feel that there was something more that we could do,
Before they'd gone.
But we can't change the past,
No matter how much we want to,
To do that little something extra,
That maybe they'd still be here with us,
But we can't,
They're gone.
We lose so much in our short time on this earth,
Ones we love leave us so often,
It's so hard to believe,
And we're always wishing they were still here with us,
When they're gone.
But no matter how they leave us,
Either by ending a relationship,
Or by passing from this life,
We always learn from each experience,
So that the next time might be better,
So we'll do all the things we want to do,
And not have any regrets,
After they're gone.

~7-21-2003~
Dedicated to someone who was very dear to me and her Grandmother, I am truly sorry for your loss and for any pain I have caused you.
And to all of those whome everyone has loved and lost within our lifetimes, we will deeply miss you, and never forget you.
