The fog lifted,
The saddness gone.

Simple pleasures seem a chore.
Is this all life has in-store?

Has this lfe been a waste?
Dreams somehow denied by fate?

In dire need of some cheer,
Christmas time will soon be here.

Lord give me a path to follow,
to emerge from this dark hollow.

A special place called mine,
where the beauty shines.
