sometimes when I walk the streets alone
I feel left out of the world
wondering was I born in the wrong time
I think that good should prevail
does anyone know right from wrong anymore
what happened to my world
I hope that I leave a legacy of trust
that when people speak of me
in the darkest corners of their minds
the realize I did the best I could
with what was given me
so as not to deceive and to believe
I just wish to go back in time
to a place of trust and harmony
