where do you want to be
when your last breath comes
cradled in love with the moon
or dancing under the bright shining sun?
where do you want to be
when you will be no more
just before you step
over the threshold of forever no more.
do you prefer a mountain of serenity
or circled by a crowd of friends and family?
when given a chance to sail the seven seas
where do you want to be?
we are puddles of water in the noon day sun
only existing until we are dryed up and gone
praying for rain to replenish our souls
till we are nothing more than a damp spot in the road.
i would like to know
before i go
when the day comes for you to leave
