Whore of the morning

brings our mourning

as we must sleep...

the night did not die

you and I

immortal bond

the sun never dawned

oh the mirth

death birth

offspring of the blood

risen from your bud

dark decadency

begets immortal legacy

redesigned

redefined

breaking the mold

the hold

we as Daywalkers

not merely Nightstalkers

laying on the beach

the sun within our reach

lapping at our skin the tide

does slide

around

surround

our hearts pound

with red fresh in our veins...

my dream wanes

you stir me to wake

with a kiss I forsake

all the longing in the dream I had

I look in your eyes I am glad

I wouldn't change this for the world...

mostly forgetable

'red fresh in our veins' is good though.
