Visions that haunt me
Thoughts that taunt me
So unsure of where I stand

Wanting to be near you
Doing anything just to hear you
I just wish I knew where I stand

Inside and out I see
Sweetness, kindness, and beauty
If you could only see you from where I stand

Brief moments of encouragement
Adding slowly to my torment
Why don't you tell me where I stand

My feelings I'm revealing
Yet still protecting and concealing
Because I just don't know where I stand

But I'll be patient and wait
For as long as it takes
Till you let me know just where I stand

So if you're still hesitating
Please know I'll still be waiting
Because you're worth it from where I stand
