Yellow Wild Roses Bloom

I climbed a mountain high and steep,
with so many dangerous gaps, underneath my feet,
someone I loved said they’d meet me there;
when near the top, there would be a cave I could prepare,
spread throughout my journey was trickery and deception,
and many times I lost my direction.
*******
through my hurt pride and broken dreams I found,
my way back to solid ground,
and now near the top, heart broken, I see the cave,
deception no longer wishing to enslave,
now before me an open field, with one lone tree to sit beneath,
waiting for my friend I wish to meet.
******
With the, warm and gentle breeze, my heart begins to mend,
as peace moves deep into my soul; a beautiful song, starts to play,
A yellow rose in my hand, when finally, I gazed upon my friend.
She was pleased; as she smiled with joy, a “LOVE” grew,
like the yellow blossoms through my field; my soul filled with delight.
Yellow Wild Flowers sang to the “Wild Yellow Rose, in my dreams one night.
