While You Were Sleeping©
By:
LuciousBi-Writes4U

I watch you as your lying there
Lying there without a care
With a peaceful blissful stare

I wonder what your dreams may be
And if they often include me

I watch your sweet and sleepy face
And I try to trace
In my minds eye the images
That make your heart to race

I wonder if you're as happy there
As you seem to be
Maybe where there are no cares

I watch your eyelids as they flutter
As in your dreams you try to discover
All the secrets of this world
You sweet and precious little girl
