White snow heavy on evergreens
a tranquility impregnates the valley
billowing smoke from ivory clad chimneys
it's Sunday and the world wakes gentle

we rouse cuddled deep under comforter
bodies mold fluidly as the sea against shore
love a bright aura splashed onto sunless dawn
thawing the chill with gentle caring caress
