Sad as the morning when she lost her night.
Tear drops of dew
The birds remorseful coo.
The sun refuse to open its eye
So the clouds take over the sky
The day began so cold
So bossy and so bold.
Not until noon did we feel its rays
Hot like fire soothing clay
Makings of a very fine day.
Black asphalt, blue cave
The sunset wore leggings
Today
Make way for the night
I hope it brings along the moon.
Its the doom of gloom
Making room for bloom.
