who am i singing this song to…
why it must be the birds
because i can hear them
answering with songs of their own.
and this air is fully engaged
with songs that flutter to life…
and these songs are full of light and
full of singing wings and sweet chirps…
the sky is filled with airy tunes
and the mystery of music…
and i am adding my own small warble
to the mix and the mingle of it all…
i am lifting my voice and singing
to be in concert with the birds…
my singing is for the birds
and their songs are for me.
