I hear his distant whispers; I can feel his warm breath against me
He reaches out and touches a part of my heart
That others have never seen nor felt.
He caress’s my body, exciting me, stirring me
With a familiarity that makes me quiver
And I feel his smile from somewhere far away
He lights up my world, yet I know not his name.
He has so many.

There are times when he confuses me
Teasing and tormenting me,
First pulling me close, then pushing away
Giving me choices that arouse me in one breath
Then frustrate me to heated anger in another
And I feel him smiling from somewhere far away
He lights up my world, yet I know not his name.
He has so many.

I hear his distant cries: I can feel the sting of his tears against me
I reach out hoping to touch a part of his heart
That others have made him keep well hidden.
I yearn to touch to him, excite him, stir him
With a familiarity that will make him quiver
And I feel him smiling from somewhere far away
He lights up my world, yet I know not his name.
He has so many.

There are times when he feels my pain
He holds me and comforts me from afar
I can feel his gentle touch wiping away my tears
His words whispering in the winds that bring them to me
Taking the hurt from me to heal my heart
And I feel him smiling from somewhere far away
He lights up my world, yet I know not his name.
He has so many

Who are you? Where are you?
The answer matters not, only that you are
Where ever you are, wherever you choose to be
Your name matters not, I know your heart as you know mine
Parent, teacher, friend and lover, you are all of them
And he laughs softly with a smile from somewhere far away
He lights up my world and he knows my name.
Whomever I chose to be.
