I am a common person
I have my faults and flaws,
I see the failing youth of my flesh
I feel the insecurities of time
Each morning as I gaze into my mirror.
Places once firm and toned
Have taken on life’s downward droop
Breasts once high and firm now glance
Not in your eyes, but demurely toward the floor.
I see no sexual allure here
Contained within this body
Boasting slightly over two score years.

But here, in the anonamynity of this place
Hidden by the blessing of cyber space
I am a goddess, and you, my god.
Within the wonders of our minds,
Generated by imagination
We all can boast the title of
“Greatest lover in all nations”….

So each night I come, and weave this spell
Of sexual sensation
With lovers from both near and far,
Neither of us caring
Or even wanting to know
The person behind the words that flow
With such heated passion….

Some say that this is but a “healthy pastime”,
And in some ways, it is,
But if we were to really look
And assess our situation
I think we would discover,
We are a group of lonely souls
Addicted to the power
Of feeling, for that brief time
Wanted, needed, and desired.
