WHY DID YOU STOP LOVING ME!


Why did you stop,
- Loving me?
Cos from this side of the wall you’ve built,
It’s not so easy to see.

Things were moving along,
-And fine,
But now you’ve put the brakes on, slowed us down
I can see the line.

I didn’t notice it,
-When it was then,
But it’s apparent looking back at events,
I can see exactly when.

It started so simply,
-And small,
Changing you mind at the last minute, little things,
Now changing it all.

Looking back,
-I see every sign,
Not bothering to much, being mildly different,
From time to time.

Just knowing after,
-I can see the loving drop,
See the start of our world crashing down,
The start of the full stop.
