Wiccan For A Friend

A very special friend of mine had a car accident so I decided to write her a poem to help cheer her up.
The result was "Wiccan For A Friend".
It is a short poem and she liked it so much she used it as a Mantra.
It took only ten minutes to compose and it rolled easily off the lips as I repeated it over and over, to get the right feel for the words.

Blessed be my Ziggy,

Bathing in the light,

Casted by your goddess,

On this clear and cloudless night.

Asking for her guidance,

A blessing to bestow,

A sharing of a friendship,

To blossom as it grows.

Standing there in her rays,

Glancing up at her,

Smiling a warm greeting,

As she smiles back at you.

Blessed be thy Ziggy,

A blessing it shall be,

For the goddess shall be with you,

Forever,

Blessed be.
