Wife’s Vacation

I need a vacation away from you.
I’m tired of you telling me what to do.
I need some time away to clear my head,
To reflect while lounging alone in bed.

Cooking, laundry, and cleaning you can do,
Food shopping and driving the kids to school,
Paying the bills and running errands,
You can do it all, you’re the grand husband.

Please stay sober, don’t drink while I’m away
Or play the horses at the track all day.
After work stay home, do it for the kids.
It’s not easy alone, that’s how I lived.

If I come back, you’ll appreciate me
Making life so you can take it easy.
By the way, Happy Anniversary,
So, tell me, aren’t you glad you married me?

Oh, yeah...

I'm showing this one to my husband.
