I open to you as
a flower does to sun:
you do not compel,
nor I submit. It is
simply nature. Or that I
under you grow damp
is just why dew settles
onto grass at night. And
those little ringing cries
you wring
from my buried lips
are merely insects,
chirping in the dark.
