The better part of you now goes
without the better part of me
I'm low
or are you upside down?
the crazier this gets, the more I sink
into the deep aybss of you
at least I think
or can you be so plain?
can I please dive into you?
can you divide in me?
can I figure it out sometime?
what if I was beside me?

the hour never comes so I believe the clock has broken
either that or something's erasing what I believe
have these words been already
spoken?
or is it my imagination?
corrupt in all my wisdom, of a teen-age boy
of a well-dressed suit
that never quite fit right
somethings never do
maybe it's my appetite?
can I get some grace?
can I figure it out sometime?
can you help me leave this place?
can you be my windchime?

the easier part of you will now go
without a struggle or a fuss
and so you must
or will I have to yell again?
oh, did you it miss it before?
CAN I GET SOME GRACE?
CAN I FIGURE IT OUT?
what has this been all about you wonder
I simply needed to vent
let out a little rage
find out where I stood and if I should stand there again for myself
and for you
for the better part of you
the better part of me says

goodbye
