Windows of Nothing

When my eyes fall, you’re born into nothing
My creation raised of the ashen hopes of open windows that see strangers
You are there where I build my house – to love – to die
For my windows cannot create while the wind stirs the racing quill.
First, I hope, then I create, and then I love.

1.     When my eyes fall – when I sleep
2.     You’re born into nothing – you come to my dream world
3.     My creation raised – My dreams
4.     Of the ashen hopes of open windows that see strangers – memories of my wakeful reality where my mind is filled with the faces of new things and strangers that create the material used in dreams
5.     You are there where I build my house – In my dreams I build a paradise for us.
6.     to love – to die – we live in this place where we love each other and die happily
7.     For my windows cannot create while the wind stirs the racing quill – I cannot create my dream world while my mind is still active in reality
8.     First, I hope, then I create, and then I love – first I hope and daydream when I’m awake then I create my dream world when I’m asleep where I find you and fall in love
