the cold winds blow --
Winter is more beautiful
than she knows,

a Beauty gowned
in saintly white,
set shimmering
with diamond moonlight --

the trees are bowed
with heavy snow --
She is more powerful
than She knows --

the Earth sings silent adoration
with his subjugated nation.
