A desperate murmur,
a pleading sigh.
You kiss my lips,
I close my eyes.
You put yourself
between my thighs.
I touch you there...
I feel you rise.
We ride the waves
of lovers' cries.
We feel reborn—
We feel we die.

I float back down,
I leave the sky.
A single tear
escapes your eye.
It falls so gently
upon my breast.

And there, it dries.

Five, but I would prefer leaving it at this:

A desperate murmur,

a pleading sigh.

You kiss my lips,

I close my eyes.

You put yourself

between my thighs.

I touch you there...

I feel you rise.

We ride the waves

of lovers' cries.

We feel reborn—

We feel we die.

You have quite the way with words. What a beautiful poem. It expresses love and passion so perfectly.

Beautiful

This poem is what I so love about words; the way they flow, the imagery it brings. Please continue to write more lovely poetry!
