You try to make me laugh;
But you can't feel my pain.
You try to make me smile,
All your work in vain.

When I laugh,
It isn’t real.
Along with the smile
I cannot feel.

One thing would make me happy;
One thing you'll never do:
Just three small words
"I love you".

I love you,
But you don't know it.
I try so hard
Not to show it.

I'm sick of hiding,
Sick of lying.
Sick of hurting,
Sick of crying.

I need a release
From all this pain;
I don't want your hard work
To have been in vain.
