I can't imagine how it would be...
Without him.
If I had not met him...
What would I be like?
Would I know I'd missed out?
Would it be evident that someone was left out?
I'd like to think so.
I prefer to think I'd still need him.
That I'd be looking for him still.
Knowing I need what he provides.
Even as I now question whether to hang on.
Should I continue to take from him?
Or let him slip away...
Holding only a memory in my heart.
And know I'll never be the same again.
