It's been a few minutes
your weight no longer fills this bed with mine, and I miss it.
I watch you pull today's clothes over your body,
wishing it was me instead.

its been two hours
I can't stop thinking about the way you hit snooze and enveloped me in your arms for another ten minutes. It feels like
an eternity.

it's been about five hours, now
I'm incessantly obsessing over the detailed description
of your lips against mine. Dry lips, wet tongue.

eight hours, since I saw your smiling face
I find my mind wandering, wondering, what it would be like to live without it one day.

it's been ten hours,
the seconds tick by as I watch you walking towards me
each step seeming to take longer and longer
I feel your arms around me and they bring the same comfort they did
the first time.

its been a few minutes

Really nice

Sweet and romantic, smooth, nicely written.
