Without You

A copse of naked trees
Barren and shivering in the cold
Blanketed in icy white wetness
Pining for their lush green foliage
A never-ending winter
That is my life…
Without you

An emaciated hopeless being
Blistered and bruised from crawling
Lips cracked and bleeding
Defeated eyes and spirit broken
A never-ending desert
That is my soul…
Without you

An old salty sailor lost at sea
Surrounded by water and loneliness
Hungrily spanning the horizon for shore
Yearning for home with every fiber
A never-ending quest
That is my heart…
Without you

You are my spring
You are my oasis
You are my home
And I’ll never be…
Without you

~~

A Fuzzy mission,

a lifetime passion;

to keep this love flowing,

growing;

wrapped in the thoughts

of each other...
