Wizend wizards
We know each other
By our signs
Wordcast threadbare
In dark night
The prickly prickly pear
Opens soft rich flowers
Musking desert
Only high flying foxes
Can taste
Our shadow play
Plays out and pales
In the warming light
Of coming day
I scan the screens
Scry for signs
Await waiting
Your heavy words

Dangerous
In our times
Games of bate and switch
Telling kisses telling
Tongue long stories
Scented sage and cinnamon
And beach sand
All the whiles
Surrounding silence sees
Keening clairvoyeurism
Onlookers looking on and on
When we dance our fantasies
Dressed in paper, lace and silk
Stripping away line by line

I love to listen
To stories of you
Hoping that
At the very least
One of them is true
